We tell Fido he’s a good boy,

Or thank Bessie for the milk.

What about a car?

What’s in a name?

Does a Bucky drive as well

As a Sparky,

Or a beast drive as well

As Red Sonya?

Today I argued

Over whether we had a Diablo

Or a Betty

And realized again

How much I enjoy

All of my friends

Whether human

Or otherwise
