Another Monday

List in hand

Wondering how

It got so grand

If I had another 23 hours

In each and every day

I could do all of the things

And would never have to say

I’m sorry I can’t

I’d love to but no

There’s too many things

Without enough time to show

The world won’t wait

It spins faster each day

That’s when it’s time to remember

To take a deep breath and pray

For courage and patience

For strength and grace

force myself to sit,
